Hey, did you ever follow-up to the group about your Mini-Carpet attack.I was wondering whether you have developed any super powers. Perhaps you can resist all forms of chemical attack and laugh in the face of Boiling-Kalk. And do you suddenly have 40 kids and can't figure out where they all came from?

Sorry, I have a fever, I should go back to bed and stop hallucinating .

Hahaha, Adrian . Yes, I am a superman now, with power to do anything you can imagine. I will even share my good fortune with you by selling you the "Tong's true superman mini-carpet" for a millon bucks.

Nah, unfortunately I am hallucinating also. The skin on my wrist is mostly back to normal, with a little mark and thicker skin around the attacked area. It still give me a little itch from time to time, and feel a little numb. It is amazing a 5 seconds contact with a soft coral can do so much damage, and have such a long time effect. Everybody watch out for these little cutties (mini-carpet anemone) in your tank if you have any, as their look can be very deceiving.

Sorry for these of you who do not know what we are talking about, I posted a thread here about being attacked by a mini-carpet anemone several months back. According to Danny, it was love. hmmm....

I wonder if there are different types of carpets with a less-severe sting, because I had some carpets a little while back and I touched them frequently. All they would do is stick to me a bit, they'd never sting me. Any thoughts?

They stick to my fingers all the time without any problem. The one that hurt was on the back of my wrist, where the skin is a lot thinner.

ohh ya man. I know what your talking about . I didnt know that that happened months ago, thats insane! btw, I cant believe I turned down the "Tong's true superman mini-carpet" forfifteen bucks =(
