I came home this morning to a complete system loss. Everything I had is now gone. Too upset to go into further detail. Back ups died, temp dropped to 54, and no generators for miles. Wife and kids are as upset as I am, going to have to wait for power to remove and clean up.

sorry to hear, I have been there too and it is deff a deal breaker! specially after having the system up and running for a while. Hang in there and hopefully you can rebuild, sorry about your loss.

Sorry to bear about the loss. Yours too Gobie. Its never a fun thing to have to start over, especially after years of building a nice system. Good luck with both of your rebuilds. With any luck they will ne bettef than ever.

What is it with this state. We live in THE most expensive state in the nation
and keep gettin hammered with days - weeks of no power?
Screw CT!! Seriously! Screw Malloy too!

Very sorry to hear (to everyone who has lost due to this storm and TS Irene). This has not been the year of the reefer in CT, that is for sure. I'm really hoping 2012 shapes up to be a much better year.

Sorry for the loss, I've know the feeling. Just when I thought I was finally recovering well I lost most of my sps and inverts in this storm but I've got some livestock and softies being babysat thanks to the efforts of great fellow reefers lending a hand. Who knows what the tanks will look like when power is back on but they've all got air pumps at least to lessen the damage... fingers crossed and best of luck to every one.

I feel sorry about all your losses guys. I never new CT always gets hit so hard! I dont know why here in RI we only get the leftovers of the storms. Good luck to everyone's come back.

Sorry for the loss, its crazy how our state have been hit by two storm and cause so many power outages. I was hearing that this storm cause more power outages than irene.

788,000 homes without power is the figure I read, which is the largest outage in CT history. And it's worse than Irene too since a lot of people lost heat in their homes too. Sorry for your loss Muffinman and all those in the same boat.

I am sorry for the loss of your tank :(.

However, I find it curious how much more media attention this is getting now that Fairfield county is affected. I don't think you saw Malloy's face once on TV during or after Irene. Not exactly coincidental.
