Totally useless, waste of bandwidth while waiting for the next NERAC

Chris--somebody better be eating what you catch :)

As an aside, when I was out in Sacramento a few weeks ago at the Western Marine Conference I had raw sea urchin ovary with a raw quail egg cracked on top...

And just what did you do with a raw sea urchin ovary that had a raw quail egg cracked on top???

luckly you didn't get Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens, Campylobacter, Listeria monocytogenes, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Bacillus cereus, and or Entero-pathogenic Escherichia coli.
I guess Your correct by saying your "Cultured"

Yep we hit slack tide shortly after we got out. The first few drifts we got a good amount of hits. Then the tide slacked and we got crabs. We were out for 4 hours :) Lots of boats fishing for stripers but we didnt notice anyone catching anything. One of them days :(

A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work ;)

Absolutely! It was actually warmer on the water than it is at home. Too bad my friend and i had stuff to do or we would probably still be out. :)

Well, ya gotta admit, you don't come across sea urchin ovary w/raw quail eggs in most American diets. But if you enjoyed it, more power to you. Me, I'm a "big" meat and potatoes man, who'll eat the occasional fluke now-and-then.

I guess 47 million Koreans can't be wrong.......:D

Nope! I have to admit I was ok with eating it until as I was bringing it to my lips Anthony Calfo leaned over and said "it's not actually urchin EGGS, it's the whole ovary... " I hesitated at that point, but then what the heck, popped the whole thing in my mouth and ate it.
