Well my sixline did!
All jokes aside I feel horrible for the little guy! But so releived at the same time. Ive been missing my wrasse for 2 days now, when I got home tuesday afternoon I noticed the tanks were sky high in temperature(84) and quickly lowered the temps by adding cool water, turned the AC on etc. I didnt think much of it on the first day thinking he may have been just stressed due to the temp and decided to stay burrowed until he felt it was safe. The second day I was getting nervous, I do have an open back no more than 10" but definately enough for a scape route if he felt like it. Then my mind wandered ; if he jumped and was floppin around did Tuffy(my pomeranian) eat him? Because I looked and didnt see nor smell any signs of him. Then my last thought was maybe he just died and the hermits got him :/
Been putting off going to the store last night to get more RO/DI but fianally went this morning and was priming the overflow when I noticed. He was swimming in the overflow in about 2-3 inches of water. I could tell he was exhausted as sometimes hed get stuck on the ventilated pipe. I managed to scoop him out there immediately and he is now back in my tank
2 days locked down in a lil CPR overflow, this guys tough! Didnt think it to be a possibility because of the filtering screen in the overflow, obviously I need a finer meshed screen!
Just thought Id share some hobby drama with you all.
