treating carpet anemone

An update. The mag is now in the display for awhile now. The problem it never stayed put for more than 3 days. It moved from rock to rock to even the back glass of the tank. Is this normal for a mag? My btas dont move.

To keep them from moving, you need to provide enough light and current. Also you may wan to isolate them on an tall column with flat top rock. In order to move off that island, he will have to move down to lower light and current. I have a lot of luck setting up Magnifica like this.

If you have him situated like this, he won't move unless condition is really bad. If this is the case, he just let go and follow the current.
I suspect that the condition you provide for him is sub optimal and he is moving, looking for better condition.

Ok thanks. It's gonna be hard to rearrange the rock work. He is actually climbing on top of other corals while moving. The flow is hard to adjust bc every time I dial up the vortech, the softies don't like it.

It does need more flow.

Those GSP's are everywhere. Looks like my GSP island I have setup.

How is the lighting? What time period too?

ATI sunpower 6x54w. lighting schedule 10-7pm. increasing the flow slowly on the vortech. when the flow is strong, the softies polyps tend to not extend as much.
