Ill continue to dose cupramine at least another week if not that would be 4 weeks then if i see emperor scratching or twitching i guess ill try the other med and clear it up. Will other med kill all flukes w/o doing a FW dip?
Back to the testing topic - Have you been able to keep track of the copper level? What test have you been using? I ran into a bunch of problems getting an accurate reading on cupramine. The salifert test did not work, and neither would seachem test. I found out that the older seachem copper tests needed to be reformulated by seachem in order to get correct readings.
Hmm. I'm the minority here but curious what would cause the PH to drop each time I used Prazipro (but only used Cupramine twice)? Most of the LRs & LS been in the system since mid-2005.
I had coraline grow in my QT when I was treating with cupramine. Tank was started with water from my display tank and was bare bottom. Live rock should not be used with cupramine as the rock will adsorb the copper and make it hard to maintain proper levels of copper and ruin your live rock.
