Trident Tailed Achilles Tang

He was through quarantine, in my DT for several months doing fantastic and growing like a weed. One morning he was eating and swimming great, as per usual, and around noon he was on his side on the sand breathing heavily, and passed within the hour.

What a bummer - particularly after all that effort. I've had AT's die for NAR before - really frustrating and I chalked it up to them just being high-strung, twitchy fish. I've had my AT in the DT for a couple of months now, after almost 4 in QT, and I'm always half expecting to find a corpse each morning. Nothing like a positive attitude

Thanks. Yeah, it was easily the hardest fish loss I've ever dealt with. Being so sudden in an otherwise healthy fish (surrounded by other healthy fish) really makes you wonder, maybe fish have internal time bombs just waiting to go off the way people do.
