Trouble!

One of my dwarf lionfish snarfed down a slightly to big feeder meant for one of the bigger guys. Been about an hour and the tail is still hanging out of his mouth and he is severly bloated. Advice on what I should do?

Leave him alone. I once had a goldfish take down a spiny catfish whose spines jammed in its mouth, and it couldn't be removed: it wandered around for days with the catfish half out of its mouth as it was slowly digesting. The poor meal disappeared fraction of an inch at a time. At least after a day the tail stopped wiggling. The goldfish survived. The bloat is worrisome, but I fear any attempt to help him will make matters worse.

lions are such pigs, mine can see me from across the room, he comes to the feeding "corner" and begs all the time.

well same thing happend to my volitan he basically was already fed and insisted on grabbing another feeder thisone super huge intended for my grouper, i thought for sure his stomach would explode which i have heard about happening , i raised the temp gradually up like 6 dgrees to increase his metabolism which worked out know i am much more careful which you should be too, if you raise the temp do it gradually like 2 degrees every 2 to 3 hours

All my fish do that.

It's funny to watch the bi-color blenny though since he can't "hover" like other fish.

my lion is the only one that will do it. you would think my cowns would but no. they are such snobs

It'd be best for you to stop feeding your lion goldfish for this exact reason. Their fin spines get caught in the lion's mouth and throat and it's difficult to digest. Try getting your lion to eat frozen foods or ghost shrimp.
