where are you getting it and how is it getting to you alive?

Not sure where he got it but I know the new RC sponsor Aquarium Specialty has it

ooo, yea... most of the time blue xenia isn't really xenia. just like cespitularia is not xenia :) just all relatives

Well to some disappointment, what really came in today was Anthilia... or what looked to be.... unfortunatly... I am not sure exactly what it is... looks like anthilia to me though... and purple, not blue...

I was quite disappointed.... TRUE BLUE XENIA is Cespitularia, Blue Xenia is obveously a form of Anthilia...

errr... makes me so mad... HOWEVER, we did get a cool Blasto W. in... green and purple I believe, or what I could see, still in bag though...

and I picked up a small half dollar sized Copperbanded butterfly, and that went over like a FLIPPEN MERCURY BALLOON!!! Mr. Achilles and Mr. Powder brown did NOT appreciate this new buddy... so I have him in a diy breeder net for the time being, he goes back tomorow... :(

I will NOT NOT NOT be getting ANY new fish untill the 210gallon is UP AND RUNNING! :)

err... just a day of disappointments :(

Sorry to hear about your disapointment Shawn. If you are ever down in this area I can get you Cespitularia (wont ship it sorry)

TRUE BLUE XENIA is Cespitularia

i know this thread is a few weeks old. Anyways Ive heard true blue xenia refered to as Cespitularia, Sansibia and Anthelia. I really wish vendors wouldnt use common names unless nothing is known about the coral. Makes it really confusing for people and can be misleading as in your case with the anthelia.

For reference and a chance for me to show the pride and joys of my tank off. Heres a pic of my Cespitularia (Bottom Left of this photo)

And one of my Sansibia
