True Tri Color Acro

Me and acouple others in the local club just won this on ebay.

The seller has a awesome rateing and excelent feedback. So needless to say we are stoked! We are going to frag it 3 ways when it shows up after letting it settle in that is. Has anyone ever seen this milli before? We got it for $170 shipped so price wasen't to bad for something this unique.
 
Yea it dose. It was only labeled as acro it didn't specify wether it was a milli or a prostrata. I thought it might be a prostrata but to be honest have no idea how to tell one from the other.
 
Cant wait to see your pics of it. If it is really that color it is a awesome coral. Just a heads up though sellers on ebay photo shop the pics sometimes, then tell you it just lost its color from shipping. But if its real you got a great piece.

Yea I thought of that. But if you look at all the other stuff in the pic like the egg crate it's on for instince it's not discolored and neather are the zoas behind it. So I doubt it is shoped.

either way that is a very nice looking peace ..congrats cannot wait to see it in your tank..by the way what is the difference between the millepora and the prostrata? if you don't mind ..

If I had one dollar for every maricultured acro that comes like that and browns out in every possible tank condition I would buy a gem tang.
IME the chances are slim and none that you will get a similar coloration coral. If you have a chance to look closely at about 10-20 maricualtured milis thay all at some point in time appear to have different colors.

As far a the difference coralites--Mille's same size all the way to the tip, and grow stubby vs prostratas taper smaller toward the tip, and grow finger like.
 
Well, our pretty new baby arrives tomorrow guys. I will post picts!!! I cant believe i paid that much for a coral. i promised myself i'd never do that again. My only concern is if it is a wild colony, as their survival right is terribly low.
 
Goldenbasket is pretty much on the level, i got a red eye branching cyphastrea that was better looking than their pick, ive bleached it a bit and its kinda pale, but still a cool coral. I dont think you guys will be dissapointed, cool pickup!
 
she will be fine as long as she is healthy has all it toes and fingers and stump you should be fine remember there are no ugly babies ..ohh ohh i mean corals lol...
