My new tank is on order, a standard 72 x 24 x 24, and I was planning a DSB using fine reef sand. I also have a TS24 Kit on order and delivery will be about the same time as the tank in 4 weeks.
After reading the reports on the awesome water movement with the 2 turbelles I'm wondering whether I should change the tank order and go with 30 inch depth. Would the 6 inches extra depth make much of a difference or would the running the pumps at minimum output until the sand bed gets established be enough to get around the potential sandstorm issue ?
