tunze 3000.244 question

for my perfecto tank
the special 3000.244 has a suction cup and small screw and nut
this is what the instruction picture shows but the small screw
does not hold the suction cup?
do i have to cut the longer cylinder adapter and screw into that?

The screw head inserts into the cup and then you attach the screw to the rail with the nut and only tighten to snug. It should work.

I have it clamped to the 3/8 inch lip ...very strong clamp.
The bracket sticks out ~1.5inches from the glass.
Do you think I could get it flush to the glass like on pg. 16
picture B in the manual, using the 3000.26 extension .?

It would be best to span the trim and use the spacer with the 3000.244 kit, I don't see anyway to run flush to the glass unless you used the plates that you silicon in place but to do that you will need to partially drain the tank.

I will have to look for the spacer? But how do i span the trim,
meaning i use the entire width of the trim if the screws are in the way.
Cannot go much more into the clamp screws are there.
Perhaps you have more image intensive instructions in another thread.

Kit 3000.244 should go completely across the trim front to back and the suction cup should serve as a spacer.
