Tunze 6200 Making high pitched Beep

I just got home and there was this terrible high pitched single note screetch coming from the little electronic control box of my Tunze 6200 turbelle. I turned off the switch on my control center that controls the tunze and of course it stopped.

Can someone tell me whats going on. I've never heard this before, it sounds like some kind of alarm. Can someone tell me how to fix this or what that alarm signifies?
