tunze 6205 stop working

I got a used tunze 6205 from aqua addicts a week ago, working fine
just yesterday I notice that it pulsing, its stop for ~13sec and on for 2sec, keep doing that
I check the power supply its fine, the drive it spin without problem. as I check I can feel the motor block pause as you move the drive close to the motor block you can feel the drive moving for 2sec then pause for 13
any idea what wrong

Make sure that with the drive unit removed from the pump and the shaft held stationary, the prop and magnet can spin on the shaft, the shaft does not turn but maybe forced to if they are seized together by calcium and this will trigger a shutdown and restart. Also do any testing with no controller connected to rule out a controller issue. If it is not the drive unit and this continues with no controller connected, then the motor is likely dying.

will the motor still spin for 2sec at 13sec interval even when it dead?
if its dead can it be fix or replace it is the only way?

Yes, this points to an issue with the electronics and not the motor coils but the electronics are potted in with the motor and cannot be repaired except by replacing the motor. The 6155.100 would be a suitable replacement motor.
