Tunze 9010 problem

Make sure you did not install any of the parts for in sump use like the 9010.400 sleeve below cover. You might try raising it very slightly if it is making any sort of gurgling noises when the cup is installed, this would indicate water is coming in through the air line. I would also make sure the air adjustment is open at least 3 turns and not more than 5. Too much air can be just as detrimental to good skimming as not enough.

If the canopy is really enclosed we know from our own tests that humid air with high composition of certain gasses from decomposition will inhibit skimming. This is the only way I believe the warmth of the light could cause an issue. If it is a really sealed hood that is filling with humid hot air with higher concentrations of methane, CO and CO2 and nitrogen gasses it will knock down the skimming power.

First the nozzle is ok, sleeve 9010.400 is not install and the top is open in the back with good ventilation(two fans at each side)One thing i notice when i open the skimmer there is always some water in the air tube.Is it normal?

Some water will enter when it is unplugged. You might try raising the skimmer very little, like a cm and see if that improves the performance. Also check that silencer is glued to the body inside.

The silencer? Is it the part between the two air tubes? If it's this part it's not glued to the body but it holds at the right place.I can move it, i looked with a flash light and i thing the plastic piece that's supposed to hold it is broken.Could it be the problem?

It could be, my guess would be it broke off and has a hole in it as a result. It is glued in and sometimes if it breaks free it tears a hole in the plastic.

I will try a last thing, one of my friend will give his pump so i will see if the problem is the pump.If it's not the problem i will call Xenia and i hope they will repair or change the skimmer.The problem get worst every day and i am living far from reef store.I will need a new skimmer very soon,that's the big problem.I need a miracle...

You would only need the 9010.10 body, they should be able to exchange it for you.
