Tunze calcium/kalk dispenser question

I just purchased an Osmolator that came with a calcium dispenser. It's my understanding that the pump plugs into the bottom of the dispenser, pure RO/DI is pushed into the dispenser and exits through the line coming out the top, which goes to the tank?

So the kalk in the dispenser, slowly gets diluted over time? Is this correct?

You will need to add a few teaspoons weekly, based on your evaporation and calcium demands. I add a teaspoon for every gallon I replace.
