Tunze nano 6025 sounds like a motor boat

I have been running my 6025 for almost a month now with no problems. Today when I woke up it was a making a buzzing/grinding/vibrating sound loud enough to be heard in the next room. I took it apart and cleaned it to try to find the problem. Nothing was in the powerhead. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the propeller has a lot of room to move side to side and that this is causing it to spin off balance thus making the 2 pieces of the housing vibrate together. If I remove the front grill the sound goes away. Also if I use my hand and use considerable force to squeeze the front a rear housing together this will stop the sound. I should add that the 2 housing pieces never fit together that great because the cutout on the front housing is not large enough to accommodate the power cord. It clamps snug on the bottom however the power cord prevents it from snapping together at the top. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the quick response. I have had some more time to look at it, It is definitely the propeller wobbling not the housing vibrating. It was not the act of squeezing the housing together that made the noise stop but rather the action of partially covering the "nozzle" opening with my fingers. I have never dealt with Tunze customer service before. Is this covered under the warranty. Also how long is the turnaround for something like this? Any special instructions for shipping it? I assume I pay shipping there you pay shipping back. Is this correct?

Yes, it has a two year warranty. Just be sure a note with your return address and phone number is in the box, we have been averaging 24 hrs turnaround lately but it can take as long as 48hrs. I prefer UPS for reliability and price but you can use whatever method you prefer.

This is happening to my 6045 as well. The impeller just wobbles and causes so much noise. I bout mine off ebay second hand from another person so I dont have proof of purchase. Any suggestions?
