Tunze Photo Cell 7094.05 question

Here is part of the description on marinedepot.com:

Operation in night mode with Singlecontroller 7091; contained in Multicontroller 7094 as a standard.


I have a TS07 kit and I would like something to automatically lower the pump flow during nighttime operation. Does this product do that? I'm not sure what "Operation in night mode" entails...hopefully someone can clarify.

The photocell will switch the pump to a static flow at whatever the setting 2 is on your single controller until the lights come back on.

Ah I see. What I've been doing so far is manually lowering the pump power on the controller each evening. So after the lights come on, the pump power will start pulsing between setting 1 and 2 again?
