Tunze Wavebox, what dimensions of tank to be built?

Hiya,
I am thinking of incorporating a Tunze wavebox into my new tank im getting built. The dimensions i am thinking of getting built are 5'x3'widex2'deep. But with this what sort of gap would i need to leave between the weir and the top of the tank?

2" would be the best, this leaves an 1" for the wave and an 1" for breathing room.
