For 6 mos I have had a 105-110x TO rate in my 4x2x2' 120g SPS/zoanthid tank.
Before this, I had a 75x TO and that worked well also. Before that, was a 55x TO in a 90g with a SSB, and the improvement after the move to a BB 120g with 75x was impressive. Surprisingly, the zoas showed the most improvement when the flow has increased, and thats due to the lack of settled detritus on the zoa mats, under the open polyps. I say this because I used to frequently have to blast them with a turkey baster when they'd look under-the-weather, and it would make them better to get cleaned up.
The difference between 105x and 75x hasn't shown itself yet, except for less detritus buildup, which was expected.
It has a Sequence Hammerhead and a Dart on CLs, an Eheim 1262 for the return, and 2 Tunze 6000s that pulse between 70/100%.
150 corals in there, including a few clams and a dozen LPS(Trachy, Lobo, Blasto Wellsi). So far, so good. Sorry, no pics lately.
