Twitchy blue green chromis

Hi Everyone,

I have a 10 gallon quarantine with a blue green chromis thats been in it for just over a week. It's eating PE mysis 3 times a day all he can eat in 2 minutes. A few days into the quarantine he started to twich and run into the sides of the tank. Does he have a disease or parasite I can look or test for? I don't see anything obvious but I'm new so it's difficult to know what to look for.

Water details
SG 1.024
Temp 78
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10ppm
PH 8.2

Could be flukes or Ich. I'd give him a dose of Prazipro and see if that fixes the issue. If you see white spots similar in size to a grain of salt its Ich and you'll need to treat him with copper (Cupramine is best IMO) or hyposalinity (which I wouldn't do if you're not an experienced aquarist).

From the vid it doesn't look like anything is wrong... he's just spazzing out after being put into a new tank. Looks like he's eating things from the water column. Keep an eye on him. Prazipro is a good "just in case" treatment that has few negative effects when used properly. If there are no white spots on him then he doesn't have Ich.

Oh good thank you for looking!

I'll keep my eyes open for any of the typical white spots or bumps then. I'd like to just quarantine for 4 weeks without meds unless theres sign of trouble.

Now if all newbies (including myself when i started) had that state of mind lol
