I know harry has this running on his tank, and I was wondering how good is it to have two skimmers . One skimmer dry the other wett.

Any one else doing this, im looking to try this for the 75

I don't know brosef... I think I'd just keep things simple.

Grab your self a Phosban 150 reactor, throw some biopellets in there, run it off your return pump, and enjoy your fuzzy sticks.

Not even worth making your sump into a sump/refugium because unless the refugium is a substantial size so it'll really put a "dent" in your nitrates, theres no point in attempting it.

also u never seemed much of a fish guy so ur water should be easy to maintain overall.

In my old fish room I ran 2 skimmers. One regular(green skimmate) and one one a slow skim(black skimmate). I had ~600G in that room being run off the same sump so I felt that two would be better. I ran a MTC PowerPro at normal operation, and an ASM G4 for the slow skim. I could never get the MTC dialed in right so I got rid of both skimmers and replaced them with a Reef Octopus SRO-5000-EXT. The new skimmer works better than the two old ones combined.

If I were in your shoes, I would stick with one. If your only dealing with 75G-120G(sump added) water volume the just one will be your best bet. Find something that is well suited to your tank needs. I love Harry's dual skimmers because they are the same. Mine were two completely different skimmers and it turned out horrible for me. If you were to get "skimmer A", then down the road you could always get another one to (1 run it wet/dry opposite to what the other one is running, or 2) have a backup incase anything goes wrong with the original.

Just for fun here's a picture of my old sump with the two skimmers in it:

I disagree with this just a bit, In a SPS ULNS the fuge is more important not for nutrient export so much thought it will help a bit but for having a safe place for pods and bugs and all the other critters to grow.

Actually I agree with you on that part. Doesn't hurt to have pods.

I am going with 6 fish in the tank. So and also I am not taking any chances. I am going full sps ( not like I am there already)

ATI Bubble Master 250 (a Pair) sicci pumps rated at `530G/hr

The Main Display tank is 220G dom SPS, 40g (with SPS) , 55g frag tank, 75g(`50g full) sump

The left is set for wet skimming and the skimmer on the right for somewhat dry skimming.

Now the skimmer that pulls the wet, does that have more water at the top as to having the water level at the bottom of the skimmer head.

I don't understand your question, but I usually have more skimate in the wet skimmer than the dry skimmer.
