Been dosing a diatom blend for 9 days and it looks like the diatoms that were starting to pop up in the tank have gone away. The ones in the drain look to be getting worse.

I think I have that same chalice coral...

It is insane, the body can be anywhere from green, blue or purple. The eyes from yellow to orange.

I think it was sold to me as a Miami hurricane chalice. It definitely looks different than when I got it

Well, I lost a couple sps and my banana torch. I’m blaming the LTA that tumbled across the tank because things are looking good. Anyway, one of my CSBs split into 3 so now there’s 5 of them.

Haven’t done a water change since I set up the tank and the skimmer has been off for a month. Looks like I have to dose nitrate.

someone was really hungry this morning. Loving that OG Phyto

I’m up to 6 CSBs now. They keep splitting! There is one that’s way in a crevice that might be 2 but I’m counting it as one right now. One split off and was on the glass this morning so I threw it in a hamster ball and it’ll make its way to its new home tomorrow, hopefully.

I’ve been dosing ammonia and other nutrients to the tank and it’s still ULNS. Phosphate actually dropped from last week! I ended up taking out a full bucket of cheato to see if I can get those up.
