What do you think?

Wow, that is pretty amazing.

That is a Gig right? Wonder if I would see the same increase in color with my SI pair if I moved one of my Haddonis to their tank -- they are currently hosted by an LTA.

These fish were at a specialist fish shop here in Bangkok, They get mcchulloch's (had a small pair last week) clarion angels, personifer angels, gem tangs... any way they get good fish.
She (the owner is in partnership with her boyfriend) gets in clowns from Oz alot But these were from PNG, and a bit more expensive than the rest, I paid alot for them (for me) but I saw the potential and they are doing really well eating like pigs.

On another note I notice that the male has blue/grey bars totally different from the female who's bars are brilliant white. I see alot of clowns here, alot of nice percs, these are the nicest, bar one, pair I have seen in my 4 years in Bangkok.

The reef scene is getting big here as you may well have seen by Chingchai's sps tank of the month and now his build thread in the large tanks forum here. I am his kids teacher so know him pretty well.

Not to divert your thread, but what did these guys go for US? Did the owner happen to know if they were from the protected area or a different area?

Thanks

Btw, very nice trio you have there.

I assume they are from the same source as Live aquaria, as it is the only source I know as, they are captive bred.
They went for 210000 baht, which is a pinch over 6000 us for the pair. This seems to be the RRP:)

From the look of it, the dorsal fins are about to turn black also. Great looking pair
I would like this very much.

Nice fish but $6000 fish they are not.. Really $6000? I don't see the value.. What am I missing? I looove that nem. How about a FTS?

I could be wrong, but I believe that he was referring to a mcchulloch's pair that his LFS had had.

adtravels --- that is great, and both the clowns and the Gig look wonderful. I really need to move my one Haddoni in my 75 and see if I have the same luck as you have. But, if figures that the other Haddoni in the 75 is acting weird and the clowns are being hosted by the one I want to move.

my pet store was talking to me and we were haveing a discussion about Amphiproin McCullochi.Me being the stupid one to ask how much they are I found out that they are only going to be 4 hundered once the mark up has been dun.Me now knowing this I set up another 10 gal and am saveing $450 just so I can buy this pair and an anemone for the lovely pair.

Ah right Toddrex. IMO Adtravels fish are nicer than A. McCullochi :) There is alot of fuss about those fish but they are nothing special to look at.
