It's been a long time since I posted here. So here's a long overdo update.

Thanks for sharing. I feel like I've seen this tank before do you have a build thread? Would love to see the inner workings on how you planned and executed your flow. Really enjoyed that!

This tank is two years old but its a replacement for another that I had for 10 years. It was TOTM in 2008 so that's probably why it looks familiar. If you look on my YouTube channel there are lots of videos of both tanks and a recent tour of the fishroom and sump.

Looks really good. I've always loved your tank. It is apparent how much care and consideration you put into keeping it looking the way it does. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

The tank and, in fact, the whole room have always been one of my favourite places to stop and just bliss out for a while. Thx for keeping us up to date on your progress. Everything looks so incredibly beautiful.

Do you have a spare room I could move into? ;)

Wow!!!! That is absolutely beautiful! Very impressive! I love the way this tank is a full walk around display and it looks stunning in your sun room! Very nice Paul!!

Hey Paul thanks for the update! I have followed your system since I first saw it as TOTM years ago! Have to say it looks as good as ever! Hard to keep pruned and good looking for this many years! Well done! I also have cyano issues (like right now) and have debated firing up my cute again. Have run one in the past and am wondering if that would solve things? Thoughts? Also curious about your anthias species? Are those Bartletts or Evansi? Perhaps some Randall's or Resplendants as well! Anemone has recovered very well! Secrets to keeping it successfully? Gig right? Awesome job! Has always been one of my favorite tanks!!

Beautiful. I would make that chair by the kitchen my bed and sleep every night drooling over the tank.

There are Square Spot, Lyretail, Evansi, Bartlett and Purple Queen anthias. There is only one Bartletts and Square Spot left and they are both very old. No real secret to keeping the gigantea. I hardly feed it hoping to keep it's size manageable. Once it recovered from the crash it just zoomed up to it's old size.

Now you have my attention! Purple queens huh? Can you give me some insight on those? I have an upgrade coming and would love to try those. Most say they are almost impossible to keep long term but I have seen them in private aquaria so I know it can be done. Any hints if I do give them a try?

Frozen cyclops 3 or 4 times a day. Then some mysis once a day along with some spirulina flakes. They don't eat much of the flakes but pick at it a bit. All the species school together facing the current when they see me approach the tank waiting for their food.

Did they eat that off the bat or did u start with live foods? How long have you had them? Can I ask where you purchased them from? Pm me if you feel more comfortable. Thanks!

I started them off on the frozen cyclops. Eventually they started eating the mysis too. I got them all at different times. The Lyretails are the newest. I got them last fall. There are 9 of them. The 4 purple queens I've had about a year. Three are juvenile but growing fast. The Evansi I got a long time ago, 3 years I think. I get almost all my fish from LFS.

Appreciate the info. Thanks!
