Richard, my colony ? she's about a little larger than soft ball. That growth there is about 4yrs.

In my last tank I had mine high up in an area with a good amount of flow. It was under a 400W Radium + T5s.

I don't know the best placement for purple monster but you sure do.:beer: I love the Christmas tree looking branches mine is finally starting to do that:bum:
