I have a 125 gal 60"x18"x24" would the 6100's be too much?Or, would the 6000 be enough. Also do the magnet holders swivel or can they only mount flat against the glass in the direction you want them to point?

I would use 2 6000. I would aim them back corner to front center. The 6100 might be OK in an SPS only tank.

It is a bare bottom sps dominant tank and I do hope for future upgrades. I just dont want to blasting the flesh off my acros. So you think I can get away w/ 6100's

The 125 is a very difficult tank to give a recoommendation for, it is long but narrow and shallow. If you will have very high flow SPS the 6100's would work but if you are keeping Montiporas and lower flow small branch acros I would still suggest the 6000's.
