Ugh, sometimes I'm crazy...

Unfortunately either the scribbled or the burgessi brought in ich so everyone gets to go through copper....

Major bummer...good luck...hopefully, you caught it early enough that none of the fish will suffer too much. I feel for you!

Shouldn't be a big deal. All fish were eating just fine after the first dose last night, and only the burgessi shows a very few number of spots.

Everyone is doing well. I'll do a water change tomorrow. But I snapped some shots tonight...

Haven't decided. Maybe... but he's a long way from being able to compete in the DT. Hmmm maybe move both to the reef?

It's not you; both are skinny... the heni especially, which is why they are still in QT (I've never kept this species of heni before and had no idea they could be so difficult). Yesterday was a very successful feeding day, and by evening, both had noticeably rounder bellies. They are taking larger and larger pieces of food as the weeks/months progress. But they are both still a long way from eating heartily and aggressively enough to compete in a DT.

A shot of the muelleri from last night. Not too bad...

Ended up selling the muelleri locally. I didn't see it fitting into any of my tanks. Meanwhile, the three remaining fish (burgessi, heni, and scribbled) are all now eating Salifert pellets... they are the perfect size for these fish.

Probably a good move........my Muelleri is no where near as fast as most fish.

By the time he examines or realizes the food is in the tank it's snatched up by a faster fish. I've trained mine over the years to get near a low flow corner so I can drop food right in front of his face.

He does fine if I broadcast feed something like Mysis, but he still misses out on the lions share if I don't make a point of making sure he gets his fill.

He's also never even tried flakes or pellets in 10+ years.

Actually, I have a muelleri in the FOWLR.... he's a very aggressive eater, considering he's a Chelmon species.

OK, latest video from the QT. Note all the poop flying around. That's from just 2 days! Yes, when fish stop having powdery, stringy and whatever poop, this is what you get. It's a great sign in QT!!

Am I crazy or can you HEAR that Heniochus eating? He looks like he's grown already! The little scribbled is beautiful....always like when I see a new post on this thread!
