Uhm....I think something spilled! My carpet is green!?

Just wanted to share some pictures of our carpet anemone Sorry for the poor pics, they're from my iPhone :hammer: Better pictures will be coming soon!

These little guys must be shy, they're hiding!

Now he's mad! (I really need to clean the glass!)

You can see the green a little better in this picture.

We've had this anemone for a couple of years now and he has grown quite a bit. His color is absolutely gorgeous and his foot is huge! He's moved around our tank a few times, but has been in this same spot for the past year now wedged behind the rocks. I'll definitely take some more pictures (better quality of course!) when it's opened up all the way. Beautiful is the only word to describe it :inlove:

Honestly, in the 3 years we've had him, there has been one accidental death due to this big guy. We purchased two diamond watch gobies (being told they were a compatible mated pair...) and the second they were in the tank started fighting and one jumped back and landed right on the carpet. Twitching for a few seconds then laying motionless stuck to the anemone, the goby came back to life after a minute or so but died shortly after.

The carpet has never eaten any of our fish or critters, and has never even killed any of our corals (even the ones it has touched!). Needless to say we are very, very happy with it :thumbsup:

Pretty S. haddoni. Green is not a particularly uncommon color for them.

He actually is on the sandbed! Is foot is huge and goes behind and inbetween the rocks down to the sand lol. I'll try and get a picture of that here soon
