Has anyone looked at building or mod-ing a miniature robotic arm or submarine to assist in accessing parts of a large reef?
Maybe like a remote control toy submarine (under 6") with a cable feed and camera (think underwater quad-copter) but with a robot hook to retrieve something.
Doesn't seem impossible technically, but getting it to be small would be a challenge.
