Not the most popular morph, but with the one above, my collection needed some green, lol. And as green is one of my favorite colors, I added a nice small colony of these as well ;)

So you are hiding out in the CTARS forum...found you now. :D

I used to follow your previous tank thread. Anyway, I love what you have done with your tank. Well done for being bold enough to go the way most wouldnt.

I truly love this:

Looks like the Red Planet King is being worshiped by the Zoas...

Which is correct in a way...Softies have to worship the sticks

Anyway, joking aside, how much Liverock do you have in the sump? Are you restricting fish stocking level due to obviously not using liverock in the display?

Do you feel that if you didnt have any fish that you could get away with less liverock in the system?

Thanks.

Sahin, I actually have a good amount of live rock in my 40breeder sump. I will post a couple pics if I didn't already. I think the rock had some die off as lately my skimmer is pulling all kinds of crap and I have to empty and clean daily. So I think the rock is sorta of re-curing. It could be the purple tang that is in there still, but he doesn't get fed enough to, or produce enough waste to really make for that much skimmer junk buildup I don't think. So I'm dealing with some algae issues at the moment. But it should pass I'm assuming when the rock cycle I'm experiencing comes around and/or the tang is finally moved to another home or a fish and invert tank I'm setting up now (75g w/ t5's and lunar lights, sand etc. my girl encouraged me to do so).

My zoa tile display will then only have a small fish or two in it. Which will drastically cu back on nutrients from fish, and again, once the rock re-cures all the way. Some of my polyps are fussed right now and have some algae growing in and around them that also seem to be frustrating them. Just a matter of time though and waiting it out I think. Just started a 3 day lights out today as a matter of fact, lol.

I think the live rock in the sump is important now that I've added it. And I will only have a sixline and maybe one other fish in my zoa display once I get that fish and invert (no corals) tank goin within the next week or two. Just waiting on the plumbing and salt to come in. Already have everything else.

I appreciate the kind words as well Sahin

And just to add, I ordered LEDs today for my zoa/paly display.

AI hydra's with wireless controller. The new soft touch controller :D

Looking forward to them. Just need to figure out mounting. Find out what size the mounting anchor bolts they sell in the kits are, so I can just make my own hangers ;)

Ok, so there are pics of my sump and rock etc, on the top of this page ;)

Yeah I did see the sump pics etc with the rocks. I was more trying to figure out the filtration from the rocks based on a lbs per gallon basis to get an idea of your filtration. Looking at the pics, it looks like you have a good amount of rocks in there.

Thanks again. And keep the thread updated regularly. ;)

Well, I upgraded to a 75g :D

Pillars aren't done yet, I still have 19 more to add, and the frags in the front lower row need to be added to my soon to be frag tank I haven't got to yet. It will be going where the 20g top off tank is on the right, and the top off tank will be going under the stand.

The fuge is for live rock and to keep my red reef lobster. (Thanks again Phil!)

I am gonna add a little more sand to the fuge and perhaps a couple more pieces of rock, and a few brittle stars for detritus.

I want to get some nassurus snails for the sand bed as well. And some more hermits.

I also still need to plumb in a carbon/gfo reactor.

I did purchase a AI hydra unit. I am waiting on the new soft touch controller to come in and the hanging kit. For the time being, I am gonna test it out on the frag tank/secondary display when I get that up in the next week or two. If I like it, I will add another and put them over the main display.

This 75g is used and pretty scratched up, but it's very functional and I enjoy the clean foot print. It works for what I want to do, and I'm pretty excited, scratches and all ;)

I'll also finish up the tile tiers to be added soon as well. But I am gonna let them cure in freshwater and flow for a few weeks before adding them.

I'm pretty stoked, I think it's gonna look really good IMO. And I really love the open water space for my fish, and I think the two vortechs mp10's are perfect for it.

Added a couple new fish today. Got a nice Harlequin Tusk from a fellow BRS member today for only 40 bones :) hopefully he adjusts well. One of my favorite fish hands down. He was showing interest in food only minutes after being added... Also added a clownfish to my frag tank.

Hopefully they both adjust and do well. We will see how they do, the tusk specifically, in the next few days.

I'm not into spongebob. Tough crowd...

Sharing about my new fish. Just hoping they do well at this point.

Think outside the box. Don't be a follower. Do your own thing. You will get 100 times more satisfaction when you succeed. Anyone can do what has already been done.

A Lego set? Cute.... Thanks for the compliment....

Glad I'm part of this club, and I share here and help here....
