i have found that glasses really dont make a difference when snorkeling or scuba diving if you are nearsighted... of course i only found this out after i spend a bunch of money getting contacts

this is basically beacuse everything underwater appears 1/3 closer and 1/3 larger than normal so you effectively can see 1/3 further and clearer than you would without glasses...

but if you are farsighted i guess you are just S.O.L...
