ok i know it been awhile .. ive been busy

i got alot of new toys for the tank


from a red sea wave maker
3-seios
some new lights MH and PC 460-420nm
a custom hood from tom .... yes i will have pictures very soon

and a new sump and skimmer and return
i got a asm G3 rec skimmer from steve414
and for the sump ... i got two moving totes from lowes
there black and 29x19x20 will hold about 27 gal of water each
i got a refractormeter ... i need help with that josh

my ro is on the way .. should be here today ?????

How are the seio's doing on the wavemaker? They are not made to turn off and on,can't wait to see some pics!!

I reciently pulled my entire sump, I was putting in a new Berlin protein skimmer, had to change my overflow piping, added new bubble traps, a new wavemaker timer +3 MJ's, and then rehooked everything up to a new AC Jr. I love my new setup, and yours sounds like its much better!

I would think you'd be better off putting the seio's on a 1-2 hours cylce
enough to get the water moving in one direction before changing it

i bought the seios 620 and not happy

for the RO i went with filter direct 5 stage with dual DI

ok i got everything done last night ...

and it all went bad ....

the first tub sprung a leak at the bulk head ...
my rec pump for the skimmer broke a shaft ??????
and for the last the external pump that i got ... it a little tooooo much ....

willing to trade or sell the iwaki 40 jap vs ...

its a MD40RLT ... so now im looking for something at 500gph not 700...


the shaft broke in the pump .. no idea how that happend ...
