Jim and I have realized that the bottom of my 20 gallon stand is comming apart a bit since my 20 gallon is leaking on the seam as you will tell in pictures, well we were afraid that it will get much worst so ..
my upgrade went from a 20 to a 56 gallon

Awesome! I told you a little razor blade in a seam would get you a new tank. And the best part is, Jim will never know! Wait a second....

I am sad john cause this is my fave Blasto ever as you can tell from what Jim posted on it's pics when it really has it's color's .. I have no clue what's going on with this little guy but I would have to do a search hereon bleached Blasto's when I get a chance too!! .. I do hope it will be much better in this new set up. thanks!

Darline, on the left in the third picture, are those pink candy canes or some sort of acan?
Congrats on the new setup!

Interesting placement of egg-crate under the LR. What’s the purpose of doing that??

Isn't it gonna be kind hard to hold your frags in there now??

im using to to keep the rock off the glass and to help spread the weight of the rock out.... not intended as a frag holder

so far today i got the other halide in place , we are running a 250 de and a 150 de. found lastnight the shaft on the return pump was broken so it was replaced with a piece of carbon fiber rod , moon light was installed , some base rock in the sump and a make shift silencer for the return and a acrylic bafflel to help with the micro bubbles , a pc light i had laying around for a fuge light and some chaeto ... im sure Darlene will be posting some pics later , im going to relax i took the day off to finish the install and replace to water i robbed from my 90

That's a very nice looking tank and stand. I have a 120 gallon that's less than a year old and we want to downgrade now due to kids. May I ask where you got your setup- I'm wanting a custom stand (for eye level viewing) and a 50-65 gallon tank.

we got it at kermits reef, they built and finished the stand and canopy. i believe there was a 65 rr right next to this tank

Thanks. Well, you certainly got a nice setup from them. I too used egg crate under my live rock. For me, it seemed to hold the rock in place a little better and make my "formations" a little more sturdy.
