ur thoughts about this skimmer

That is the same skimmer as I used to run but with only two pumps. I would say if its in good shape then that would be a very good skimmer. My skimmer was awesome and I loved it and I have three hundred gallons and it did fine. I myself would totally recommend it.
I would try the mesh mod on the pumps also.

they have a mesh mod on them the only minor blemish is the spout where u hook the water comming in was cracked and repaired with epoxy and it will need a feed pump butt my slightly disabled sedra 5000 should work

That Sedra 5000 should work ok but I my self would run it straight from your return with about 600 gph at the least.

i am getting the ddnw 250 for sure it is used but verry little and a great price i cant wait to get it should be next week or so

if i run it from the return i think it would slow the return rate down to much i am going to use this on a 215 with a 75 sump and mag 24 return for now until i get a larger return

I have a 4 foot beckett 5 inch diameter and if it is paired with a good pressure rated 1600-2000gph pump, will skim your tank clean/dry in 1 hour. $100

thats a great deal but i think im going to get the one i mentioned it has verry little time and is less than half the price of a new one and it is good to 350 with a decent bio load

so are the sicce pumps that much better or the design of the extreem 200 also are the sicce pumps a direct fit replacement for octopus skimmers

if your gettin a good deal on it go for it, its a good size skimmer and it can be ran internal or external. you can always try modding the skimmer later on with different pumps.

for the price i am getting it i could buy 2 new sicce pumps to go on it and still be almost 200 under msrp
