Urgent help with Ritteri Magnifica Anemone!

I'll keep it going for sure. Before I started the treatment I thought he only had a few days to live. When I checked him the next morning, I was very happy to see him inflated a lot more. Still a long way to go, but I have hope. I'll keep posting pictures daily until tx is done. Did a 50% WC with DT water and dosed another 125mg before I left for work. I'll take a picture when I get home in the morning. He looked about the same today before I left.

He is really improving. I though he was a goner for sure but he seem to be coming back. Good luck with him.

Me too, thanks...I'm hoping for a full recovery. Still not out of the woods yet. I'm keeping the Cipro going with daily 50% WC's.

Having seen multiple shipments from Petco, I find that the stuff from the Petco distributor actually arrive in good shape. The Aquatic manager at Petco is another mater. There are some that are good and other that are not so good or horrible.
The one here, Corpus Christi, is actually very good IMO. They keep their fish disease free. The coral tact actually have OK light. The anemone tanks/system however, does not have enough light.
It is too bad that they don't buy from local reefer or else I can really supply them with a lot of animals that they sell.

There is one fairly good one in terms of marine I have seen, it's in Pasadena. But only seen haddoni and condys and LTA. Just the thought of mags is a little disconcerting, although, that can be said for lots of fish stores.

Amazing progress! It's been a while since I kept any 'nems (and those were RBTAs), but I'll have to do some reading on the treatment you're using. Is it for something specific or just a general antibiotic treatment? Don't mean to derail this, if these questions will be answered once I start researching feel free to say so. :)

Good luck!

It's a broad spectrum antibiotic. There's a sticky posted. Check it out, good read!

Yep - found it last night and started reading through. That's great that someone id'd the "issue" (whatever the bacterial infection seems to be) and came up with a protocol for it. Too many of these guys just waste away for "no reason". Knowing is half to battle!
