URS picture thread

Hey! Thanks !
I don't know a scientific name
My tank is 18 months old and there is an assortment of lps and sps
I don't do any thing special for the torch

As soon as they're fraggable I'll let you know Dan and Carl. Believe it or not I got them at CF; I just couldn't pass them by.

Some new pics taken tonight

Construction is almost complete. Still waiting for my doors and I need to attach my molding.

A xenia given to me by Guy, thanks!

BTW, the lighting on the tank is being replaced next week.

Thanks Carl. I had to empty my web space to fit those 4 pics. I am at full capacity right now. I'll have to wait a bit.

new old tank.
I transferred the 50 to this 65 gal, while I've been stalling on the 150. I know, I need to get moving.

Randy- It was a pleasure accidentally running into you yesterday.
Who was that wildman with you? Here's a pic I snapped this morning. Please excuse seeing the kitchen floor through the tank.

Hey Gary,
Same here.
That was just another Buffalo reefer. Doesn't own a computer, so he's not in the loop.

Gary,
I want a shot of your tank with the sun in the skylight shining down on the tank. Find out what day the sun goes by your skylight. :)

Pocillipora

Pocillipora

The best shot I could get on one frag of blue tip Pocillipora. The body is tan/brown and the polyp tips are bluish teal. The tips have an almost metallic sheen so they look somewhat silver in the picture. Photo was taken under 220W URI 50/50 VHO with 220W URI Actinic.

Teraphage,

Obviously it is going to be somewhat different due to lighting, but how would you compare this Poci to yours?

For the heck of it, here's my pink P. damicornis. Notice that it's polyps appear yellow/green near the bottom, yet blue near the top of my pic.
sschafer, I think your Pocillipora appears to be a green or yellow halo type. Teraphage's is more similar to mine.
{Carl- I'll try to get the shot. Might be a month or two from now before the sun is north far enough, though.}
