used goods/complete systems

A few people on the original sale thread expressed interest in some of the livestock.

live stock shouldnt be a concern at all...there are atleast 2 tanks in the area that could hold the fish for a week, and if you didnt get rid of them within the week you could always donate them to an aquarium like the senica zoo or down on LI.

The Pittsburgh 210 tank with all the accessories would have to be picked up by the May 18th, Silchaos informed me that unfortunately he is unavailable next weekend. I had hoped on having someone with me who had some saltwater experience, as I am still a little leery moving the large livestock, as well as help lined up for putting this tank back up in a hurry upon my return. As I realize that this is wishing for/asking a LOT, It appears that the Pittsburgh tank is not meant to happen.
This brings me to the 180 that Jerry posted. I need to make a decision and I would like to be able to line up some help to either go and get it, or unload it if the seller were to deliver it. I would also be looking for someone who is experienced to drill the tank and show me how to install the bulkheads and overflow, although I am not very handy, I would like to learn. Please let me know if you might be available or able to help.
Thank you

I would be happy to help unload the tank. perhaps you can rent a dolly. I think that would be safe given the thickness of the glass. I would post a separate thread requesting help with drilling the tank. Several folks on this forum have experience with that including Ryan, Geo (Blugobi), Adam and others. The overflows will just involve getting some glass cut to size and sailiconed in. Others here can help with the plkumbing design and installation. What were you thinking of for a sump? You should eithjer purchase like a 30 gallon or larger aquarium which can have some baffles siliconed in or go with a rubbermaifd poly tub like we use at the zoo.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the help, guidance, advice and support that I received from all of you while searching for my new tanks.

Thank you

Steve
