An additional question, is what does ambient light range do and what are the two sliders for?
With the 'Ambient Light Range' you can select LED-pad-area that shines during the night.
With "˜Apply Ambient Range' this setting will be transmitted to the device.
Can anyone point me to a manual for the Vertex desktop? I've found the firmware and have been playing around with the settings and all and think I get the basics for a program, but when I go to close it gives me a message saying actual startup settings not set or something along those lines. Any insight is appreciated, and my apologies if I overlooked something on here.
Does that mean the further the "Ambient Range" tabs are apart, the wider the coverage you'll get with the moonlight?
My understanding is Yes (I have never tried though): if the slide on the top is at the farthest left and the bottom one at the farthest right, the moonlight covers the entire length of the fixture. And if now you just move the bottom slider to the middle, then the moonlight only covers the left to the middle of the LED fixture. So basically moonlight covers the area of the fixture in between the two sliders.
You can experiment this and post the result, thanks.
