Vertex In-180 Impeller Issue

Hey guys,
I bought an IN-180 about 6 months ago and am having problems with air water mix. The pump runs fine for several weeks then will all of a sudden start overflowing like mad. It seems to be an issue with the impeller and I heard that vertex is replacing impellers if you experience the issue. Who/where do I go to get this resolved. It sucks having to pull the motor every week or two to clean/ vineger dip the impeller.

How are you determining the impeller is the issue? The only reason I ask is that typically impeller issues are present on a daily basis, or much more frequently than every 1-2 weeks. In my experience with these skimmers, I find that the venturi on the pump, or the air silencer clogs up every couple weeks, especially the silencer due to the size, and creates the overflowing issue you're experiencing.j

I would recommend cleaning the venturi and the airline out really well. Then hook everything back up, minus the connection from the airline to the silencer. Leave the airline off of the silencer, and let it run like this for a few weeks. I have a feeling that this will completely solve your issue.
