Well, after about an hour the skimmer overflowed again, (this time onto the floor because the water ran off a piece of plumbing and over the side of the sump...#$@!). Anyways, I took everything apart again, ran some warm water through it, and all seems to be good now. I think what actually happened is that when I took the pump out, I got water in the air line which cause a clog, but even after I blew it out, there was still some salt buildup. So hopefully, the warm freshwater did the trick. Now I just have to reroute that piece of plumbing that cause the spill, so if it overflows in the future, it stays in the sump.
