Vic's 100gal Starphire From Philippines

Tank Dimensions : 38x22x20 LWH
Sump : 25x20x15 LWH

I have to make the tank close to exactly 100gal as much as possible for thea ease of dosing.

Objective : Run a SPS dedicated & Palys tank with selected range of species.

Stand/Cabinet : Cabinet will be reinforced with 2" angle bars fully welded together. Solid beechwood will be used to cover the stand turning it into an open-back cabinet Smile

System : It will be run with a full blown Zeovit setup, complete with the Zeolite reactor, Zeo Bak, Zeo Start2, Zeofood7, Zeo Pohl's Extra, Zeo K-Balance, Zeo Spur 2, Zeo B-Balance, Pohl's Coral Vitalizer, Zeo Amino Acid HC & Zeo Flouride. Calcium & Alkalinity will be introduced in a two-part method using ESV's B-Ionic Calcium Buffer. Magnesium will also be dosed with ESV's B-Ionic Mag additive.

Plumbing : 1 1/2" grey pvc pipes for the drains, 3/4" grey pvc pipes for the return altho im still contemplating if i should use Spa Flex / pool hose. Fittings will be all-grey to match the PVC pipes' color. Bulkheads will also be use for ease and cleanliness of the fittings attached to the display tank.

Dosing : Bubble Magus (BMT-01) will be used to dose the 2-part calcium and magnesium. Profilux SA Dosing Pump will be used to dose some of the more sensitive Zeo components.

Auto Top Off : Attached to the left of the sump is a separate chamber containing only RODI which will be used to top-off water into the sump using the BMT-01 dosing pump.

Lighting : Two KR-92 LED Lights. Hopefully they'll be good enough.

Skimmer : RO XP2000
Carbon : KZ Carbon
Return Pump : Eheim 1264

Overflow: BeanAnimal's stand pipes will be used for the overflow.

Return : 3/4" Loc-lines with flared nozles.

Powerheads : 2 Vortech MP40w ( and 2 Tunzes if wife permitting )

Chiller : Teco TR20, neverfailing and tough as the arctic ice!

Started test-painting my chiller stand a few days ago with this undercoat product I purchased locally ...

not as good as i have expected so i purchased herculiner online to coat my stand.

did some mock aquascape as well over the weekend. my aquaroche inspired rockwork, ony difference is that i used 100% unmodified in any way natural rocks

still uncleaned with all the things stuck on it from the sea

cheers mate! well, its a nitrate and phosphate reducing system ... it doesnt remove them directly but actually prevents the accumulation of amonia which is the bottom of all these, with bacteria.
