Vic's 100gal Starphire From Philippines

Great stuff Vic!! It looks really really good!

Vortech, return pipe and rock work placement is superb!!

The stand looks super... nice colour too!! :inlove:

Can we see some more pictures of your stand, door and what is behind it?

Awesome stand. Was some kind of metal for the outside and door?

I really like the finish, what kind of paint was used? It almost looks powder coated.

Looks like you have connections here in the States. All your stuff are awsome homeboy.

Nice tank
Thanks mate :)

Thanks Andrew. I was inspired by your tank all along the building process of my tank :) Ill post some more of whats inside the cabinet later today. Altho stuffs still definitely have to be moved and changed of their placements.

Very nice build so far! Congrats and please keep the pics coming!
Thanks buddy :)

Thanks :)

Thanks buddy, only the framework of the stand is metal. All of what you see there now are wood. Ive had the painter use automotive paint. The brand is Anzahl ... DuPont is also a good alternative if you dont have it available there.

Awesome build!!
Thanks :)

Thanks kabayan. Yep, my family/clan is all there. I go stateside every year to resupply. Most of my hardware are shipped over tho.

Very nice tagging along for this one!
Thanks :)

Awesome!! I'm so glad it's wet now.
Thanks, yep it took me almost a week to setup the lighting and plumbing lol!

Yo Vic,

Nice beginning so far.. please keep us updated! I will be subscribing to your thread :) This thing better be as nice as Boracay!!!

Cartimar brings back old memories. I remember going there in the 80's, looking for rare BMX parts. btw, Don't let your pigeons come close to my house, or I will "dakma" them and make adobo

mmmm adobo.

Your off to an amazing start. I cant wait to see it progress.

Awesome looking setup!

Does the front door still slide like the you showed in the rendering? Thanks for sharing!

hehe nothing tastes like adobo lol! thanks bro. first phases of algae are starting to show @ day 3

Awesome looking setup!

Thanks buddy. Nope, I ended up with the usual swivel but one piece only. I couldnt find a slider locally and shipping it wouldnt be practical as I would end up shelling close to $300 just for the slider lol and besides it would add another problem to my cab with regards to the slider placement.

Looks good kabsat! Are you getting corals locally in PI?
Salamat kabsat! hehe ... yep corals will be from here. Altho I will try to bring in some when I go home from US in my next trip. Would also try HK and SG sources as some LFS here imports corals from there.

ooooo algae starting to bloom! on the third day of cycling :)

Very nice! I will be following this for the lights. Are the LED's just a bright as 250w? Can we see a middle of the day FTS?

I really like the tank, the way it was designed. It has nice clean look. Those LED lights really bright and give of some nice colour.
