Hi, I've got these two clownfishes, I know that it's normal for the male to shiver in submission, but what about the female?
I've read that she can shake to show who's the boss, but I was wondering if is this kind of shaking right.
She shakes in a different way, more violently than the male and doesn't bend.
Is this right or it seems to you that the fish has problems?
You can see the video HERE
Here's the description:
The big fish is a female (A.percula, true percula), the smaller and more orange is the male (A.ocellaris, false percula). When the female goes towards him, he bends, shows his belly and shiver to show submission. Then the female makes a dance of big shakings to show who's the boss
I hope I have well understood this behaviour and my fish isn't sick.
Thank you!
