Virtual tank tour anyone?

I don't see why not, but I wouldn't do it for more than a month though. When you connect your sump it will be almost like a mini water change.

No i would be running it like that for maybe 2 weeks tops if not i do have that rio 1200 working of all that grime in a vinegar bath.

Run it all together, It will give you time to take care of layout and noise problems before you get all into reef mode. Just My opinion.

Yeah guess you're right Grant. Did my plumbing today just waiting for my light adapters to arrive so i can put them together. My skimmer should be here very soon also. the only thing i need to buy now is the substrate, i'm really wanting to do Tahitian moon sand in the dt and regular sand in the sump. Take that back, also need to buy the return plumbing.

Oh and by the way START YOUR BUILD THREAD ;) get out of the tank tour. I want to see more tanks. We still need to see more Rosa tanks and then Windsor is up. Lets see Em guys and gals.......... Love Grant:lol2:

Come on Luis, you know I'm just harrasing you Bud. You can post anywhere you want but I didnt want the tank tour thread to completely die. You dont have to move anything just start a new thread and we'll all follow along. You know its exciting for all of us to see a new tank setup. Speaking of your tank did you get it wet yet?

yeah yeah like i have not heard that before lol. i would love to start a new build thread but how do i do that? is it just like starting a new topic? no, its still not wet, i got my protein skimmer yesterday but the whole body was disconnected from the base so i am waiting for a reply from the seller if they will replace it or give me a discount since i think just some strong glue should be able to keep it together also i still have not received the light adapters. hope to get it all set up before my birthday.:hb2:

Whens your birthday old man?;)

Tuesday, and since you have been harrasing me the most i am the biggest gift from you hahaha :debi:

P.S. as you can see now i am starting to use more emoticons so i don't go through the MARS incident again here :D

that's why i said if they are zoas, lps or softies i'm there. I think maybe tomorrow it will go wet just need to find enough Tahitian moon sand to cover the bottom of the tank. I'm thinking at least 3 bags. I'll start my new thread today if i remember if not tomorrow if i do wet it.

Whats that sand look like and what type of grit?

Its black and sort of shiny and pretty and its not that fine grain size i just want to try something different than regular gray sand. Now about the tour? Come on lily liver people ferry on with it. We want to see more pics.

It is usually used in freshwater tanks.

Yes let's see some more tank pics people. Your tanks can't look worse than mine.

It's available at Dr. Foster&Smith. On sale now for $15/ bag. Free shipping over $49. I'm sure you can come up with enuf toys to get the bill over $49! :)

And where is that promised new thread, Luis?
