Visiting Orlando Area and looking for LFS w/SPS

Hello ORCA,

I'm in JAX... not too far from you guys. Our family always visits Orlando (theme parks) throughout the year and we'll be going down again real soon.

I've always wondered if there were any nice LFS to check out along the way or while down there. I travel 95 south to I-4.


I am primarly into collecting SPS.

Thanks in advance for any directions or info you can provide.

Aquarium Fanatics has an awesome selection of sps, and they're right off I-4 on Kirkman Rd. They just got a pretty big shipment in of really nice stuff for damn good prices.

you want corals then you want Sea in the city, off of lakeunderhill, seainthecity.net is their website

I think those are your 2 best bets for SPS corals. You wont be disappionted.

I love reefworks probably my favorite atm. I think the other two stores have them beat on SPS, but I would definately stop by and check them out.

They are located on Lake Emma Rd in Lake Mary. On the way to Orlando

Another great store is Fishy Business, not a ton of SPS but lots of other great corals and fish at the best prices in town. Off of I-4 in longwood

If your going to goto Fishy Business, make sure to check out Oceans Direct (The Fish Bowl) its on the same road, only about 3 miles apart.

We drive down from Jax on a regular basis to go to Sea in the City!
It's worth the trip.

Thanks everyone! I stopped in at Sea in the City while in Orlando. It was our last day there so I didn't want to miss having a look (well the wife and kids were still at Disney getting their last few remaining hours of fun in before heading back to JAX).

Everyone at the store was very nice and helpful! I picked up 3 nice SPS frags ...and was glad to see their setup and resident sailfin and 25yr old ORA clowns.

I think I was there while you were and heard how you travelled so far I hope it turned out okay and the frags (and family) made it home to jax okay!
