So this wavemaker is just a chip?? Does this mean we have to buy another wavemaker to plug our vortechs into?? If i put one on a 90 do you think it will make a nice wave with just one vortech?

ill let you know in about 14 days

its not just a chip it a new wireless driver with controller function each pump communicates Wirelessly via these drivers you just replace the stock drivers and instant upgrade. no need to remove the pumps from the tank and no need to send anything in exept the old driver that you dont need anymore.

Maybe this is a dumb question but by driver do you mean the part on the outside of the glass connected to the speed control and power box?

No, the actual white box itself is the driver.

I just read that we are suposed to know what mode it is in and whether or not it is connected to other pumps by the leds on it, where are the leds anyway??

you pay them 100 bucks they send you controller,

you send back your old standard driver and they give you 50 bucks back

So, now I have a quick question. A local reefer loaned me a vortech to see how I like it, and how it'll work in my system. Needless to say...LOVE IT! Anyway, are they going to sell the pump and controller together at some point, I assume? Should I just wait for that?

dont wait the controller with pump will cost 450 and seperatly they will be 400 the rebate program is for pre order only
