Vortech Modules

Hi
Soon the firmware is ready it is going through final testing, so if you call PR they will get this added for you.
 
I talked to Ronni at ProgressiveReef concerning another issue and as an aside asked when these would be shipping. She said that there was an issue with the firmware and that it was still being resolved and that they would ship out soon baring any issues arising during testing.
What I am trying to figure out is that if all issues are resolved and everything is in fact shipping which is great or if their is an issue that cropped up at the last second.
Doesn't matter which one it is as I would rather get a product that works as intended than to have to alter it as soon as I get it. Although I will admit that i hope that aqua digital has info that Ronni didn't.:lmao:

I cant speak for Proressive Reef but we started shipping last week as there is nothing stopping the user doing the upgrade IF required themselves.
 
We have all the hardware ready to go, we were just waiting for that final build on the module/PIII firmware so we can get all of our modules flashed and shipped :-)

When it comes to doing PIII upgrades in house (which is 99% of the Vortech module sales I have, PIII Upgrade combined with the Vortech module) then it only makes sense that I flash the firmware to the newest during the PIII Upgrade and test in one shot. This saves the end user a lot of time and hassle, and I can personally verify that the units I have upgraded are being returned to the client in working condition, and ready for Vortech control (with the update features included).

If that firmware gets released tomorrow I have a STACK of PIII Upgrades ready for it and I will will ship them out the following day. I'll be flashing and testing all day and poor Ronnie can pack em up as I finish! Half of my office has been converted to my PIII conversion area and is ready for this big push, just need the software.

We all value your patience, but hopefully you can understand where I am coming from in regards to a support position. I want to make sure the products I am selling you, are working their best. Thats it.
 
working great. The UK testing went well no issues, same as Germany, now its just down to Gareth and I testing it. I will have the results today back to Germany and Gareth tomorrow so I imagine release being tomorrow.
 
One thing I know is that profilux takes their time with firmware updates. But, I have never gotten a bad firmware from them, and everything always works the first time. I don't mind the wait.
 
final testing was today, eveything is working flawlessly, Gareth just have to do his test and then we are ready to launch tomorrow.

Sorry about the delay but due to the unit updating third party firmware it was imperative everything was exactly as it should be.
