Was a great day diving today 7/8/14....untill....

I reached for a rock and behind it was a 10 inch scorpion fish......first time in 40 years of diving that I got hit by one.....got it right in the tip of the index finger....ouch....pulled off my glove and tried to suck any venom out....underwater lol....hurt some for a few minutes...and went away...I always thought they hurt more than that!

Was a nice day early this morning...now it is thundering and lighting.

Got the KILLER rock. Rock is in full bloom right now...dead of summer..
