Holy crap, that is a lot of evaporation. I am kind of glad I have a glass canopy!
You'll probably also notice a change in evap rates as the season changes. In the summer I have a much lower rate of evaporation than in the winter when the furnace is running and the air is drier.
Here's a side question: where does evaporation go? Say I have a 150g tank and evap a few gallons a day. In a room the size of 12x13', where is all this evap water going? Does it get sucked up in the carpet, the TV, my computers? I am venting my canopy into the attic, so I know where most of mine goes, but for others, I was curious where water ends up if humidity is not vented out? just wondering
tell me about it--oh my aching back for having to supply so much more ro/di water to clients who won't invest in ro/di filters![]()
